Description

Immerse yourself in the unparalleled charm of Nomads Gardens Pinot Blanc, a testament to the artistry of winemaking and the bounty of nature. Sourced from the esteemed Acacia Park vineyard in the King Valley, this wine is a tribute to the vision and dedication of grower Pat Murtagh, whose passion for viticulture is reflected in every bottle.

Perched on the side of a mountain, Acacia Park enjoys cooler temperatures that are vital for maintaining natural acidity, a hallmark of premium winemaking. While the vineyard predominantly cultivates well-known commercial varieties, a serendipitous discovery led to the revival of Pinot Blanc, a hidden gem waiting to be unearthed.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, Nomads Gardens Pinot Blanc is a labor of love from vine to bottle. The grapes are handpicked in the cool of the night, ensuring optimal freshness and flavor retention. Upon arrival at the winery, 75% of the fruit undergoes gentle whole bunch pressing in a traditional wooden basket press, while the remaining 25% is allowed to macerate on skins for 16 hours before pressing.

Fermentation occurs spontaneously, driven by the natural yeast indigenous to the vineyard, resulting in a wine that is authentic and true to its terroir. Temperature-controlled fermentation preserves the delicate aromatics of the fruit, while barrel aging on lees for three months imparts texture and complexity.

True to the ethos of the Nomads Gardens range, minimal intervention is employed in the winemaking process, allowing the fruit to express itself fully. Lightly filtered and hand-bottled on-site, this vegan-friendly wine is a testament to sustainability and ethical production practices.

With its vibrant character and captivating flavors, Nomads Gardens Pinot Blanc is a delightful addition to any wine lover's collection. Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with your favorite cuisine, each sip offers a glimpse into the soul of the King Valley terroir. Bottled in June 2021, this limited-edition release is a testament to the enduring allure of handcrafted wines.

Customer photo review of Vignoble Boudon 'Les Vielles Garennes' Bordeaux 2018

We absolutely love this wine! After one run through the decanter, it becomes a beautifully smooth red. We also purchased the decanter from The Wine Traveller and couldn’t be happier. Quick dispatch and delivery. The organic reds taste incredibly fresh and clean—no chemical aftertaste at all and no hangover. We're hooked. Thanks, Greg!

Vignoble Boudon 'Les Vielles Garennes' Bordeaux 2018

I'm very impressed with the ease of ordering and speedy delivery with my first order. Oh yeah....and the wine is delicious!

Annais Organic Chardonnay

I was at first hesitant about a sparkling wine in a screw cap bottle but was very pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the wine and the cap. The screw cap does a better job of keeping the bubbles fresh than any champagne stopper I have ever used. This wine is our favourite drop for those everyday bubbles where you don't want to open an expensive French champagne like Verve or Taittinger (she who must be obeyed favourites).

Tamburlaine High & Dry Premium Cuvée

My wife loves her French bubbles and rates this one favourably alongside her French favourites but with a considerably more affordable price tag!

Tamburlaine High & Dry Premium Cuvée

I’ve had to give up my French champagne for health reasons and so I’ve tested many sparkling ‘wines’. I first sampled this at the famous Lakehouse Daylesford and have never looked back. It looks like champagne and is the closest thing you’ll get without the alcohol and the French touch. Give it a go!

Kolonne Null Cuvée Blanc No.1 Zero Alcohol Sparkling 375mL

The wine is Magnificant. Subtle, flavoursome and very drinkable. My favourite red wine ever.

Chevalier De Bayard Aude IGP

It made me sad when my doctor said to give up alcohol. I love my bubbles. At a lunch at the Lakehouse I saw this non- alcoholic sparkling and gave it a go. Game changer. Looked the same and was very well received by my palate! The best part no adverse reactions and no hangover. So…..I had to buy some for those special celebrations when I didn’t want to feel left out. A little on the expensive side but worth it.

We are normally Shiraz drinkers, but I would describe this Grenache as a warmer-climate Pinot Noir with more body, making it incredibly approachable, food-friendly, and a fantastic alternative to heavier reds. It is a highly aromatic, medium-bodied red wine with flavours reminiscent of red cherry, raspberry, and strawberry. Very nice indeed.

Tscharke A Thing of Beauty Grenache

The best prosecco (in our opinion) and one we have bought lots of times.

See Saw Balance Prosecco

From the first time you had suggested this we have loved it.

We were amazed how quickly you managed to package our order and get it Aus Post. Unfortunately, Aus Post are a business that do not care about quality and it took 2 weeks to get it to us. This is not out of the ordinary and I feel Aus Post are hurting businesses and this might impact on whether we decide to purchase from you guys again. However, you guys were great!

Nomads Gardens Pinot Blanc

I tasted this wine at Marmelo restaurant in Melbourne. I loved it. I have been systematically tasting zero alcohol sparkling wines for some months and this was the best one I had ever tasted. I ordered 6 bottles, and everyone I share it with is VERY impressed.

Kolonne Null Cuvée Blanc No.1 Zero Alcohol Sparkling 375mL

My son bought this prosecco at the Sutherland Saturday markets, and we all agree it's the best prosecco we've had. I re-ordered directly through The Wine Traveller as they weren't there a couple of weeks ago, and delivery was super-fast plus 10% off my first order! Very happy, and will be purchasing again once we get through the latest box.

Delivery speed can improve further but the wines are lovely. Also will be good if photo as well as description refers to correct year of production

Brockenchack Jack Harrison Shiraz

We love this wine especially with some age on it. Deep rich palate that is beautifully smooth after breathing a few hours.
