LS Merchants Hoi Polloi White

LS Merchants is the creation of Dylan and Taryn Arvidson, a Margaret River winery built on a love of great fruit, curious winemaking and genuine approachability. Dylan came to winemaking after working at Juniper Estate, bringing with him the technical precision of a conventional wine education alongside an instinct for what makes wine genuinely enjoyable to drink. The Hoi Polloi range is the most everyday expression of the LS Merchants philosophy.

For the white, Sauvignon Blanc is machine-harvested in the evening to preserve freshness, left briefly on skins to extract aromatics and natural texture, then fermented cool in stainless steel. The result is an unashamedly easy-drinking white wine with enough character and brightness to stand on its own at the end of a long day or to carry a table through a relaxed dinner. Lightly skin-contacted, capturing vibrant aromatics and natural acidity with flavours of lime zest, tropical fruit and crunchy green apple. This is wine without pretension. Just enjoyment.

Colour: Pale straw with a light, clear appearance.

Nose: Lime zest, tropical fruit, crunchy green apple and a light herbal lift. Fresh, clean and inviting.

Palate: Crisp and vibrant with natural acidity and a lightly textural mouthfeel from brief skin contact. Lime, tropical fruit and green apple drive a clean, refreshing finish.
