LS Merchants Breakfast Juice Orange Wine

LS Merchants started as a side project between friends and grew into a full-time winery. Dylan Arvidson and his wife Taryn run the operation from Margaret River, sourcing fruit from across Western Australia and approaching each wine with genuine curiosity and technical precision. The Breakfast Juice is born out of a spirit of collaboration and experimentation that runs through everything LS Merchants does.

The wine is a partnership with Old Bridge Cellars, a respected Western Australian retailer. Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc are co-fermented on Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris skins, a technique that extracts aromatic compounds, texture and a beautiful amber-orange hue while maintaining the fresh, fruit-driven character of the grapes. The result is a skin-contact wine with a genuine sense of fun. Approachable enough for those new to orange wines, and interesting enough for those who have been drinking them for years. Think orange peel, guava, white stone fruit and mandarin peel with a juicy, textural mouthfeel.

Colour: Light amber-orange with a warm, glowing hue.

Nose: Lychee, mango, orange peel, rosewater and tropical fruit. Aromatic and inviting with the characteristic lift of skin contact.

Palate: Guava, mandarin peel, white stone fruit and orange zest with a juicy, textural mouthfeel. Light-bodied and flowering with bright natural acidity and a clean, moreish finish.
