For three generations, the Ponte family has meticulously hand-farmed their vineyards, rooted in the traditions passed down from their grandfather. With a focus on good site selection and maintaining vineyards with care, they have combined these traditional practices with modern, temperature-controlled winemaking. The result is Fratelli Ponte Barbera D’Asti Superior, a wine crafted from 100% Barbera grapes sourced from calcareous soil in the San Damiano d'Asti area. Fermented in stainless steel, it undergoes a six-month aging process in steel, followed by another six months in Barriques, and a further six months in oak barrels. This meticulous process yields a wine that embodies the perfect balance of tradition and modernity, offering exceptional value and quality.
