The Chardonnay grapes are whole berry pressed and transferred to 1- to 4-year-old French oak puncheons with light solids for fermentation. To achieve a perfect balance of creaminess and acidity, 50% of the parcels undergo malolactic fermentation, while fortnightly lees stirring over six months enhances the wine’s texture and complexity. The final blend is lightly filtered and bottled in September 2024, ensuring a wine of exceptional quality.
This Chardonnay presents a lovely straw hue with a youthful green tint, delivering enticing aromas of white nectarine, lemon curd, and delicate white florals. The palate is citrus-driven with a long, refreshing acidic line, while lees stirring has rounded out the mid-palate, adding texture and depth.
