Description

SAMM, or skin contact organic sauvignon blanc and marsanne, is a wine that has been incubated as naturally as possible. The grapes for SAMM are handpicked from 'See Saws' organically certified Springvale blocks and fermented with wild yeast while still whole. After 14 days of carbonic maceration, the fruit is gently pressed into stainless steel tanks where lees are stirred through fortnightly for 4 months to increase the mouthfeel. The wine is then passed through a rock filter prior to bottling. SAMM is a wine for lovers of skin contact wine - those who appreciate the care and dedication that goes into making a natural, delicious wine.
